Skin Cancer Management through COVID-19
Rosebud Skin Cancer Centre would like to advise all patients that, as per the Department of Health and the Skin Cancer College of Australia & New Zealand (SCCANZ), skin cancer treatment is still considered an essential service and should continue.
This means all skin cancers that have been proven by biopsy still require to be treated.
Also, if you have any new, growing, painful or bleeding lesions, the recommendation is that you still have it seen to and diagnosed.
This can be done either by a visit in person with appointment or Telehealth (a video consultation).
Please ring the clinic on 5986 1600 if you have any concerns.
Should you call us out of hours, please leave a voice message and a member of our team will phone you back as soon as possible. If you have a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath or you have recently travelled, please contact us prior to your appointment.
