Dr Sally Shaw M.B., B. S., Dipl. Obs. Dipl. ACSCM.
Sally is one of the founding members of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine. Sally has been instrumental in establishing standards for skin cancer practitioners throughout Australia.
She holds a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, a Diploma in Dermoscopy and more recently, has become a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australia & New Zealand (SCCANZ).
Sally has more than 20 years’ experience as a GP and more than 15 years’ experience in all types of skin cancer surgery including flap surgery, grafts and non surgical skin cancer treatments such as Efudix, Aldara, and PDT
Dr Mary Tai Kie MBBS.;MRCGP,FRACGP
Mary obtained her MBBS at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK. She then became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) before she left the UK.
In Australia, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She also obtained her Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery and Diploma of Dermoscopy and is currently working towards a Fellowship at the SCCANZ.
She has 10 years’ experience as a GP and 5 years’ experience in the management of skin cancers and is able to provide advice and treatment of skin cancers, including simple excisions, flaps, grafts, and topical (non-surgical) treatments.
She originally hails from the island of Mauritius and speaks French fluently.
Amy is our practice Nurse Manager who is a Div 1 Registered Nurse. She studied at the University of Ballarat, graduating in 2011 and has previously worked in a hospital. She has 5 years experience working in skin cancer medicine. Amy has completed her Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine, Certificate of Dermoscopy and has attended a graft workshop with fellow Doctors. Amy enjoys teaching and educating nurses into the new skin cancer workplace. She also thrives to learn any new opportunities given to her to better her nursing career.
Philippa is a Division 1 Nurse, who graduated in 2003. Philippa specialised in Plastics & Orthopaedics for 13 years, and has now transitioned her career into Skin Cancer. Philippa is undertaking continuous professional development in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine. Philippa is passionate about educating the community and wider public about self awareness, early detection and prevention.
